About the webinar

The steel industry is undergoing a major transformation towards climate neutrality, resource efficiency and circular production. Industrial symbiosis offers a way to accelerate this transition by creating value from by-products, waste streams, energy flows, and infrastructure, while reducing environmental impact and supporting collaboration across sectors.

During this webinar, experts will share examples of innovative solutions, research results and real-world experiences that show how industrial symbiosis can bring tangible benefits throughout the steel value chain.

The programme also includes opportunities for discussion and questions, giving you a chance to exchange ideas and explore collaboration.

This webinar is part of the EU-funded RFCS project SymbioSteel, coordinated by Swerim with the goal of accelerating industrial symbiosis in the steel sector.
