A major step towards carbon neutral production of ferrochrome

For the first time, successful trials have demonstrated that biocarbon functions as a reducing agent in the production of ferrochrome (FeCr).

Many small companies are innovative and driven but may not possess necessary resources. External cooperation may be needed for further development.

Better surfaces and less scrap

New mathematical models help to determine when cracks occur in the steel during casting.

Green rocket engines in space

For the past 10 years Swerim has helped the aerospace company ECAPS with analysing welded and soldered joints to further develop their rocket engines.

The Swedish Government Awards SEK 20 Million to Swerim
