Research & Development in powder and components
Swerim helps you along the entire value chain, from materials to application testing.
We help you to identify, customize, manufacture and/or analyse powder materials that may be suitable for your product. This may involve optimization of the chemistry, particle size and shape, flow properties and purity.
For manufacturing of components we can help you with selection and optimization of both the powder and the manufacturing technology. We have a broad knowledge of many manufacturing technologies and can create prototypes based on metallic materials. Via testing and analysis, we can also verify that the finished product has the properties that are required for your application.
Additiv manufacturing with powders
If you wish to use powder for 3D printing, we can apply our knowledge across the entire chain from concept to finished product. Important considerations are how powder properties influence the quality of the 3D-printed product and how many times a powder can be reused without impacting the performance of the product.
