Methods for evaluating hydrogen compatibility of metals in demanding conditions: possibilities and limitations
The Arena for Hydrogen in Process and Materials, a network for knowledge sharing and dissemination of results on hydrogen in processes and materials, invites you to the webinar "Methods for evaluating hydrogen compatibility of metals in demanding conditions: possibilities and limitations", on August 20, 2025.
The Arena, with its 19 industry participants, is a national initiative and center for hydrogen research. It offers trend monitoring, experience exchange, and dissemination of results, as well as opportunities for development through research for companies. Participating in the Arena is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the impact of hydrogen in your own processes as well as in others’.
This webinar is part of that initiative and is therefore aimed at members of the Arena for Hydrogen in Process and Materials.
Program
- Overview and standards for mechanical testing of metals in pressurized hydrogen gas – Robert Sundström, robert.sundstrom@swerim.se
- Use of hollow specimen method to assess hydrogen embrittlement susceptibility in metals – Eduard Navalles, eduard.navalles@swerim.se
